May 3rd was a bank holiday. The Children and I took part in the traditional bank holiday activity of shopping - The Girl had some birthday money she was desperate to spend! She chose some more lego to go with the sets she was given on the day (along with a few other things). I was allowed to help build this set!
I rewarded myself with a glass of nicely chilled white wine :-)

I loved Lego as a child, I hope my children will let me help too! That is one of the funny things about being a parent - you get to play with toys again!
I loved helping DS with his lego models - I used to lay out the bits and he would put them together. Sometimes he even let me put some pieces together too...
Sounds like fun - and the reward for helping looks good too!
Love your reward!
Our lego days are over :( Just yesterday I spotted the ends of the Lego football pushed under the wardrobe in case they were spotted by a new girlfriend. You get these extremes with teenagers!
That's a big glass...
Lego drives me to wine too. And that makes me so much more creative with the lego. One day, after two glasses, I made a lego chandelier. What a life.
Those legos look familiar. I think we have that set. Is it a Lego City or Lego Rescue vehicles?
