On April 26th we ate out as a family to celebrate The Girl's birthday :-) Frankie & Benny's works pretty well for us as it's family-friendly without being overrun by noisy youngsters (and believe me, our own youngsters have been plenty noisy in their time and still are often enough, so I don't mean to be rude to anyone with young children!) The menu has good children's choices as well as more adult meals, too. I had a field mushroom stuffed with goat's cheese followed by half a pizza - I couldn't finish it, my appetite clearly still not back to normal! (More about the pizza tomorrow...)

Here though is a photo of my lunch - stir-fried beef with ginger, garlic, carrots and broccoli, mixed with vermicelli and a splash of sesame oil.

Am I the only person who still has just a boring sandwich for lunch? Yours always look so delicious and I come away thinking 'I must be more imaginative' or ... maybe get you to do my packed lunch for me ;-)

I agree with Deb - you have such exotic and healthy lunches! When do we get to see the 'junk' that might make its way into your diet? ;-)

LOl Amy! It looks delicious, but are you sure there are no crisp packets stuffed down the back of the sofa??

I hate cooking, so I only cook for dinner. Lunch is never this good, because it is always something I can just throw together.
