Our flight home on April 2nd was very early :-( At least we got to see the beautiful sunrise from the plane :-)

And I'm not normally a full English breakfast person, but maybe it was a reaction to having been away? It certainly had something to do with the fact that although it was breakfast time in England it felt more like lunchtime to us... Anyway, I had a real yen for a cooked breakfast, so we stopped off at the motorway services on our way to The Doctor's parents' house:

Yummy...I'm off to make a Sunday morning breakfast right now...

The only way I've ever had beans with breakfast is with Mexican food (refried beans). Mmmmm...

The sunrise was lovely.
The sunny-side-up egg looks nice too. I like a cooked breakfast occasionally, but not often. And I hate that fried bread and tinned tomatoes.
Deb, I don't know if English Baked Beans are anything like those you have in USA, but we all think they are lovely! (Mind you, I really like Mexican refried beans too).

I love flights that are either really early or really late. Sunrises and sunsets are so lovely when you are actually up in the sky to see them. There's also something exciting about being on a plane when other people are all just getting up and going about their everyday business.
