More metal

I loved the frame of brads in the first prompt for Something From Almost Nothing - and it really adds some necessary colour and interest to this otherwise very simple layout for my I Have To Confess album:

Yep, it's true. Like Sian, I can't actually click my fingers. The Doctor can. The Children can. The Girl is proving so in my ear right now! Me? Can't do it.....

When I was sorting out my metal collection, I came across the apostrophe brads and had the idea to add them to the photo to represent the lack of click. The question mark brad was also good to represent my puzzlement at how anyone can actually make that sound. I printed the title in a vintage typewriter font first; I then added the photo and about 50 million other brads from my collection to make a random frame - with some alphas spelling out 'click' along the bottom edge. Oh, and more bracket brads framing the word 'click' in the title.

I'm really happy with this layout :-) My confessions album is growing nicely, my stash collection is shrinking slightly, and I have a little pile of tiny punched circles from placing all those brads - bonus! ;-)

The clarity of this page struck me immediately in the forum. I woke up this morning imagining my brads! I've already used ONE in a gift tag yesterday. I'd never have done that without seeing Deb's flowers, thanks to you. And I can't click my fingers either.

Your brad collection beats mine by a mile! I only have the basic solid color round brads, with a small handful of square and maybe a few patterns - no letters or fancy shapes. Love the usage here!

Wow - thanks for the close ups and details . . . couldn't see them on shimelle's forum as well. I love brads and use them all the time, so don't mind having a bunch.
