I reckon I'm due another confession! And thanks to Clair's help I have the illustrative photograph for this one now...
Well, here it is.
I dance like nobody's watching!
(But only when nobody is, in fact, watching...)
I regularly dance round the house; in particular, while cooking, I often put on loud music and dance round the kitchen.
When I say *happy dance!* it usually means that I did, in fact, do a happy dance. (You should've seen the happy dance I performed when Shimelle announced the results of her challenge!!)
But oh boy, I make sure I don't have an audience.... I *really* get into my dancing, you see. And I often sing along to the music, too. When the Black Eyed Peas are on there's no stopping me.
And now, with the aid of a longer exposure and a kind friend, you can have a glimpse of it:
This post is part of an occasional series of confessions which will eventually become the basis of my I Have To Confess album.
More stencil goodness + a new CZ Design release!

I love this, Mel. The photos are great, and so is your confession. I'm the same way when I hear the Black Eyed Peas - can't keep still!!! :o)
Of course, I did have to promise to keep my eyes closed while you danced. It did make taking the photographs somewhat more difficult :)
Fantastic - those really capture the spirit of you confession.

looks like a ghost dancing!! You are so honest Mel I love how you share all these things on your blog!
It really does look a bit like a ghost dancing!!!
Your next confession may have to have something to do with the sheer number of books you own!!!
Cool post, I love they way you have taken the photo's. I'm the same with dancing, but am quite happy to dance with the kid :)
And I sing like nobody's listening (but only when nobody's listening!). Great photos and the album sounds really wonderful. Starring this one to come back to for the link!
brilliant.........and how many books?

Oh how fun! Love the pics... and I can't help but notice all the wonderful looking books behind you too!
Oh my failing eyesight! Good for you; it's always the right thing to dance.
I agree dancing is a wodnerfull feeling - love the idea of using long exposure for the photos

Good for you! Not having seen your house, I'm sure all of the rooms are filled with fantastic things, this would be my favourite room - at least the books would never comment when you are cutting loose ;-)
I dance when no one is watching but I have to have music
Oh, me too! always have... love to dance.
The photos are fabulous and such a clever idea! Looks like quite a funky outfit you had on too!
I love the layout you made with these (posted on Shimelle's class forum). It's fabby and really goes with the whole spirit of the class and the ideas of confessions, dancing etc
