On March 10th I went on a school trip to listen to a local orchestra - it was *amazing* :-) (The noise the kids made on the bus all the way there and back was also amazing, but not in quite such a good way....)

Having been distracted by the first prompt for Something From Almost Nothing, I was running a bit late for the trip so had a very hurried lunch of oatcakes and lemon and coriander hummous:

Ah, that post takes me back! I used to be a 'volunteer mum' at the local primary when my kids were small. Days out with a bunch of under 11s is exhausting! Hope you had a nice glass of wine/bar of chocolate waiting for you when you got home!

I remember going on school trips with my kids as a volunteer - I definitely remember the noise on the buses! lol!! Hummous and oatcakes are great for a quick lunch - amazing how they can keep you going!

I've done more school trips than I care to remember! And there are bound to be loads more in the future ...

Another great shot, Mel . . . and it brings back memories of more field trips that I can count!

Ha! Last time I went on a school trip by bus, they gave me the "travel sick kid" to look after - great!

J. plays guitar and they have concerts and an annual "Guitar Festival", which are always wonderful to listen to. Glad you had fun.

The lemon hummous and oatcakes both look so yummy.. you eat such nice food!
