66 of 365

On March 7th, it being exactly halfway between The Mother's birthday and Mothering Sunday, we took her out for lunch to celebrate them both. (Hope you had a good time, The Mother! x)

I had the beef roast dinner:

(I couldn't finish it - too generous a portion for me!)

The Mother did manage to finish her meal, and very nice it was too. She was amazed to see Mel leave roast potatos, though.

I am amazed that you were able to take a photo of your plate in the restaurant! My kids would have teased me mercilessly if I tried that one!
Those roasties do look particularly nice .... mmmm....
