On March 7th, it being exactly halfway between The Mother's birthday and Mothering Sunday, we took her out for lunch to celebrate them both. (Hope you had a good time, The Mother! x)
I had the beef roast dinner:
(I couldn't finish it - too generous a portion for me!)
*Because I have so many projects to share from the Something From Almost Nothing class I'm taking a break from Fashion Forward this week. Please do pop over to Clair's to see what everyone else is sharing though!*

The Mother did manage to finish her meal, and very nice it was too. She was amazed to see Mel leave roast potatos, though.

I am amazed that you were able to take a photo of your plate in the restaurant! My kids would have teased me mercilessly if I tried that one!
Those roasties do look particularly nice .... mmmm....
Hello The Mother - lovely to see you here :-) I hope you had a lovely day out with the family.

I should never look at your blog when I'm hungry! ;o)
Hope you had a good Mother's Day! Ours isn't until May in the US.
