On February 27th we had friends round for dinner, and I made a chicken and porcini mushroom filo pie (which was lovely but very fiddly, so I probably won't make it again - nice to have tried it once though!)
I also made a Ginger Tiramisu for dessert (and this recipe I will definitely make again!)

This looks very impressive and I bet it tasted yummy. I've never worked with filo pastry because I've thought it looks fiddly.
I bet that pie was delicious and well worth all the fiddliness! And filo pastry is sooooo good for you (well, in comparison to all the others)
Gorgeous dinner! My husband makes spanakopita (spinach in filo) for Easter, and it is yummy, beautiful and time-consuming.
