Fashionable Felt

If you're looking for the Old Skool Stash Scrap Blog Hop, please see my previous post. But have a little look at the cute little felt flower below on your way :-)

Right, Fashion Forward! A little later than usual, sorry - that's due to the OSSSBH mentioned above.... But I did so want to share the little goodie I found at the weekend. Here's my latest fashion statement:

This darling little clip is made from thick felt in rich tones of red and pink. The flower is mounted onto a hair clip but I have plans to wear that clip variously as a pendant, or a brooch, or a handbag accent - I may even wear it in my hair! ;-) Isn't it *beautiful*? Here's another look:

*Edited to add: A few people are asking where I got this from. It was made by a local crafter and sold in the most gorgeous of little shops near where I live - but I'm afraid I can't tell you where, partly because then it wouldn't be my best-kept secret, and partly because I try not to give away my exact location! This was the only one of this particular design and colour scheme, you know - I like to think that it's completely unique :-)

This is so on trend at the moment! My daughter (who is into fashion styling in a BIG way) wears flowers all the time at the moment. In her hair, clipped to her tee shirts, handbags, belts, you name it.
Haven't seen one made of felt before though, where did you find it?!

That's lovely. If I knew where you lived and could steal it, I'd wear it in my hat.

And that, Mise, is exactly why I try not to give away my exact location....

That clip is so sweet - not suited for my short hair unfortunately.

I love this. I recently saw a blog post with a flower tutorial that looks a little similar to this. I'm going to do a post on my blog about it as soon as I take some pictures of the flowers I made.

I would love to have some of that felt in that color!!!

This is charming. I would definitely wear it on a jacket. My hair would be far too short!

Mel!

I deserve another wrist slapping.
I'm sorry I didn't catch up with you yesterday - I really thought I would be home in time for some blog reading.

Still, I have seen this now and, since we friends in real life and I know where you live, I shall be holding this information 'hostage' until you disclose to me the location of the snazzy shop where you bought it.

*Rubs slapped hands together in a dastardly plan kind of fashion!*
