It was half term last week, so on Wednesday I took The Children and The Mother to the cinema. The Boy is into epic quests and fantasy, and The Girl thinks she's a 10-year-old boy, so we decided to see Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. The Children loved it, and The Mother and I enjoyed it well enough :-)

Later, The Children had their swimming lessons. I was thirsty so decided to get myself a cuppa from the vending machine.

Um.

I'll maybe not bother next time!

Mel you are doing so well to keep up with this project!
I'm not a coffe drinker so it all would taste yukky to me ... it does look a little on the weak side.

Ooh, vending machine coffee has a taste all its own! Looks like a good film.

Well...coffee from a vending machine and in a paper cup isn't my favorite either, but when you are desperate for a cup of java a girl's gotta' do what a girl's gotta' do!

Why is vending machine tea/coffee rarely very nice! I know part of my problem is that I don't like powdered milk! My younger daughter has been rewatching the Harry Potter films but I hadn't heard of this one until you mentioned it.

That film is on my list of want to see's, it looks amazing (until you see the kids in it :( I know that sounds mean but I'm hoping it will be fab & not dumbed down for lil kiddies)

p.s, by saying dumb down for lil kiddies I do not in anyway mean lil kiddies are dumb, merely that adults like to make films dumb for them, which makes adults dumb! ..... hmmm, maybe I should leave now before I insult everyone

Poor you, that coffee does look rather weak. As Deb said "Desperate times calls for desperate measures"
