On February 5th I tried to go to a craft shop near where I live.

It was closed :-(

Luckily I managed to find time to go there again on the 9th, and it was open, and it had what I was looking for in stock - hooray!

For dinner that night the recipe jar told us we had to have the amazingly yummy Monkfish, Ciabatta and Pancetta on Rosemary Skewers.

So we did.

They were amazingly yummy :-)

I'm always disappointed if I get to a craft shop and it's closed :( Glad you were able to go again and get what you needed.
You obviously have your family well trained! Those kebabs look really yummy but I think I would probably be the only one who would eat them (DH might try them too).

Next time those kebabs are on the menu can you let me know in advance. I'm sure I can be there within 6 hours ;-)

Love that you took a photo of the closed sign! Not sure that would have occurred to me, but it is definitely one of those "everyday" kind of things that we should be documenting. Good job!

Dear Rosemary Conley,
The reason I keep losing weight one week and then putting it on the next is because Mel keeps putting scrummy recipes on her blog. I just made the kebabs but used salmon instead of monkfish. Absolutely delicious.

Ah, I was wondering how the monkfish turned out. Remember mentioning it during your visit and our discussion turning to the merits of various varities of fish? Glad it was amazingly yummy.
