On January 30th I had the most amazing cinema/theatre experience :-) The National Theatre performed an adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Nation. The performance was live in London, but broadcast simultaneously to cinema screens across the world. And I was in front of one of those screens :-) It was *fabulous!* The adaptation was good, the performance was great, and the whole experience was so unique and special :-)
For dinner I had some of the mashed potato left over from the previous day, fried as a potato cake, topped with fried eggs (which sounds extremely unhealthy, but I have a couple of fabby non-stick frying pans which need very little oil!)

Hi Mel, just wanted you to know I added a link to the video on resist embossing on my blog. I tried to send you an email, but it wouldn't go through for some reason.
I haven't read that book yet, keep forgetting to check the library. I love Pratchett, so want to read this
very cool that you were watching the adaptation :)
Funny how a simple meal can look so delicious! You can just imagine how gorgeously those eggs will spill their golden yellow yolk when you put your knife in. Please tell me there was tomato ketchup! And can I come for tea one day. Please. I have good table manners. Honest!
What a cool cinema experience! So glad you got to take part in it. And dinner looks fabulous!!!
Sounds like a great experience Mel!
I really liked Nation as a book, that must have been wonderful :) can't go wrong with eggs and a potato cake ;)
