I resolve...

...not to make any resolutions! ;-)

I never have been someone who makes resolutions at New Year. However, I do usually take the chance to think ahead to the coming year: What am I looking forward to? What might I try that's new and/or different? What are my hopes? And so on. Which isn't so very different, I suppose. And as these aren't resolutions, I don't get to beat myself up about 'breaking' them :-)

I used some nice bright cardstock from Shimelle's kit; it's double-sided, so I used offcuts of the reverse side to cover the chipboard numbers. These are mounted on a spare journaling card. The journaling is computer printed using a free font called 'Cheryl' (I like cursive fonts as much as I dislike my own handwriting!)

Oh dear, I clearly didn't handcut that very neatly - I blame the TV, my mind wasn't fully on what I was doing! Still, no blood, which is a bonus...

What's your take on New Year's resolutions?

Nice page (as always!). I did the "I Confess" project and really liked it! It's a quick one. The scrap your day on the 25th looks very doable! Is Shimelle continuing that? If so, I could definitely do that.

That page looks fantastic, I love that font, it's what I've been looking for to finish of my first scrapbook, most of the pages are done, just need to finish off.

No resolutions...just aims.
A lovely page...the font is perfect...would have thought you had written it.
Think I'm going to try 'scrap your day'....I know I'd never manage project 365.

I'm jealous that you're going to Transylvania - DH and I learnt to ski in Romania one Christmas many years ago and snuck in a trip to Draculas castle and a sleigh ride! Also, I love Italy so would wholly endorse your aim to go there sometime this year. If only we lived a bit closer to Europe...

And happy 2010 to you and yours!

That's a lovely simple idea for a very effective page. I think I need to resolve to get more scrapbooking done!

It's a great page! I thought you had written it all yourself and was so filled with admiration for your even writing and level lines... The font is great!
I don't see a fault with your cut-out numbers, so it's obviously not a problem!!
Great page and I hope you manage to do all that you want to do in 2010.
