Fashion arches

This month Something Completely Different is thinking arches. This week Something Completely Different is thinking fashion. Well, the combination of the two immediately made me think of the mirror that hangs in our hall. It's a *beautiful* mirror, a nice big one with a wide wooden frame, and it's in the shape of - an arch! So I thought about someone looking into the mirror, to see how she looked in her new fashionable clothes. And I went from there, really.

These three lovelies are looking into a mirror which measures just 2 3/4 inches tall, and which consists of some silver paper mounted onto brown card (which looks kind of like wood in real life). The beauties themselves came from a little book of collage pics which came free with Simply Stamping (*sigh!*) ages ago. I like to think that it's the same mirror at three different times, and that it's reflected many women over the years....

(But then, I do get carried away by my own imagination sometimes!)

That gal in her fur looks so snug; I know fur in very non 'U' but I guess at the time she wasn't to know that. Great work as ever. If only mirrors could tell stories; what stories they would tell.
