This was The Day The Snow Came (remember that I'm posting these almost a week behind!) Snow is quite rare in this part of the country so it caused great excitement :-) And then everything started to grind to a halt! Roads became icy, schools began to close, etc, etc! But it still looks beautiful, doesn't it? :-)

That day our evening meal was:

Turkey and gammon stroganof :-) We never really have a problem with leftover turkey - I always make sure there's plenty, we eat some in the couple of days after Christmas, and then I use whatever remains with any leftover gammon (we have gammon on Boxing Day) to make Cheat's Stroganof for the 27th. Spare portions of that go into the freezer and we eat them once a week or so till they run out. No chance to get sick of turkey that way!

Turkey and gammon stroganof sounds delicious....I have a turkey and ham bake we use in the same way!

That sounds such a quick and easy stroganoff and relatively good on the calorie front! (Can you tell I'm feeling anxious about the Rosemary Conley weigh in tonight?!) Amazing the things you can do with a tin of condensed mushroom soup. We have a tuna bake recipe which is basically onion, tuna and condensed mushroom soup. Simples.

Great use of the left overs!
Today must be the day for weather posting - I think, no matter where we are, the weather is starting to take it's toll :-(
