To do: write lists

Lists of:
  • People to send cards to (with columns to tick when written and when posted)
  • People to give presents to (with columns for chosen, bought, wrapped and given)
  • Separate list of items bought and who they're for
  • Gifts received and from whom
  • Thank you notes written
  • Food to buy (perishable - dairy, meat, fruit, veg, etc; non-perishable - packets, tins, frozen, etc)
  • Non-food items to buy
  • Recipes to make
  • Friends to call or visit
  • Things to do
I like lists :-) I like tick-boxes :-)

Sorry.....

Stripy paper from - er.... It was in Shimelle's kit, but I can't remember the manufacturer now!! Crate Paper? Collage Press? American Crafts? Anyway, I cut it down to 8x4 to make a pocket. It isn't stuck to the background cardstock yet 'cos I want to use the reverse side of that to do Day 8 and it'll be easier to work on it if it isn't attached to this. I printed the titles of various lists onto cardstock and tucked the strips into the pocket. Later I'll be getting them out to actually write stuff onto each list so it's both a practical help and part of the record of this Christmas.

The letter stickers are Doodlebug Design Just My Type, and are some of my favourite ever alphas! I also painted a tiny chipboard clipboard (ooh, I like how that sounds....) with white acrylic paint and added a strip of paper and the Elle's Studio number before clipping the board to the front of the pocket.

Yes, I agree, that alpha is a good one! I would not want to say 'chipboard clipboard' 10 times quickly ;-)I like lists as well ...oh, and my eyes were welling because your eyes were welling - we're a great pair aren't we?

I agree completely I could not live without my lists.

Very cute - I'm a natural list maker but always have too many items on them. Someone very wise once said put no more than 5 things on any to do list, because they won't be done.

Lists are great ... as long as you remember where you've put them and remember to take them with you when you go shopping! Ever stood in the middle of the supermarket trying to picture the shopping list you've left in the kitchen? That's me!
I'm loving that mini clipboard ~ very sweet.
