It's a wrap!

I do love stylish and beautifully presented piles of wrapped gifts, but we don't do it that way. Cheap and cheerful wrapping paper and last year's Christmas cards cut up to make gift tags, that's us!

It's partly because so many people ask me to get presents for The Children, and send me the money. I just don't have the time or energy to gift-wrap all that lot stylishly and beautifully!

A selection of the different wrapping papers I've used this year, layered and collaged to form the background to this page. The journaling is on the back of two small gift tags - recycled Christmas cards - held on with 'hinges' of sticky tape so they look authentic! The photo shows the stack of presents I spent TWO HOURS wrapping yesterday.... Elle's Studio number card and PaperArtsy stamped title to complete.

Some day you will look back at the 'vintage' paper and you will be glad you saved it!!

You certainly were very busy Mel! I like the idea of using last years cards for tags - very resourceful. I know our styles are so different but, I love how you incorporate the everyday into your pages - I really need to find a way to do this.
