Gloat Alert!

How can I do anything but gloat?! I received the most AMAZING package this morning!! Do you remember Joyful Mel? We first met her here, she popped back again here, appeared occasionally after that, and then here I found that she'd won a prize!! Today, that prize arrived. Oh. My. Gosh. Where do I begin?!

Well, I have to begin with a huge thank you to the generous, talented and wonderful-in-every-way Creative Beast! Honey, I am overwhelmed by your kindness and cannot believe your generosity. I'm almost speechless. Almost!

I was happily dozing this morning, listening to the radio, sleepily wondering if I ought really to start getting up, when The Girl pranced into my bedroom saying "Mummy, you've got a parcel!" (Bless her for answering the door. I hadn't heard postie knock. I hadn't even heard the door open and close.) I pried my eyes open to peek at the parcel and when I saw this label on the side...

...I snapped awake at once, knowing what it must be! Except that actually, I had no idea just how many beautiful things were inside. So many that I couldn't fit them into just one single photograph.

There were:

Super-pretty fabrics, and some lovely papers and postage stamps which I already have scrapping ideas for :-)

And then there were:

A bee-yoo-ti-ful soft and fluffy handbag, cosy furry mitts, bookmarks, vintage buttons, a pot pourri sachet and a little fabric package of which more in a moment....

And there were also:

A bright and cheery embroidered bag, a colourful and fun scarf handmade in a colour of my choice (green, obviously...!), and a party popper so I could celebrate my win properly! And that little fabric package? It's a pouch containing some gorgeous little illustrated Meditation Cards with the most lovely sentiments on, such as 'drink in joy' (pictured above, you can just see it) and 'remember your abundance'. I shall keep these to hand for times when I need an uplifting moment :-)

I am truly stunned at the hard work and creativity that has gone into this prize. Much of it was made by The Creative Beast herself. And I love all the details, like the fun little labels attached to each part, and the way it was packaged inside the handbags, and the consideration given to my own interests and style. I cannot say a big enough thank you :-)

And I cannot gloat enough to do this prize justice ;-)

That is sooo lovely! I'm very pleased for you (and just a tiny weeny bit envious, but we won't let that spoil a good gloat, eh?).

Wonderful stuff! Hope you enjoy every single piece of that prize!

I'm just quietly sitting here pretending we're playing that game where lots of things go past you on a conveyor belt, and anything you remember afterwards you get to keep. Sale of the Century, was that it? I'll remember a lot of these things.
