Dear Santa revisited

Yesterday was our school Christmas fair, at which the children received their replies from Santa (remember the Santa letters I shared with you here?) It seemed the ideal day to record the whole process for my Journal Your Christmas album. So I did:

I used another envelope, and I've tucked The Girl's letter to Father Christmas and his reply to her inside (she was the one who asked if he got any presents for Christmas, by the way!) I added photos of some of those cute illustrations, a journaling card from Shimelle's kit, the fabby Santa bingo card from Jess, and an Elle's Studio number, then stamped the frame around the number using the lovely Believe stamp that was also in Shimelle's kit. I stamped my own little letter to Santa onto the journaling card using Studio G alphas. I may add another journaling card inside the envelope with the background story from this post - haven't decided yet.

The whole thing is backed onto yesterday's page, which gives it a lot more strength and stability. I punched holes through both thicknesses and it slots straight into my album. I'm liking the mix of 8x8s inside page protectors and extra bits like this :-)

Mel, what size is your actual album going to be? The envelopes are a very good idea - I need to devise a way to keep bits and pieces we collect on the way.

If you've been a good girl then I'm sure Santa is listening. Lovely to see the mix of pages in your album
