For this, I went for a double layout of 6x6 pages. The background is My Mind's Eye paper and I ran a strip of Sonburn Designs ribbon right across both pages. The title (Doodlebug Design alphas) also spans both pages. On the left hand side I tucked a photo of the John Rutter music under the ribbon and added an Elle's Studio number; on the right, I've included the CD the choir members are provided with so we can practise at home. It has the full version of each piece and then the individual parts. I trimmed some Love Elsie paper to cover the CD and added the titles of the pieces of music with peel-off letters. I used a little CD mount I salvaged from a broken case and used that to attach the disc to the page - it's still removable and playable, should I wish to play it!
I may add a little something to that empty space in the middle of the double page, but I'm holding back and considering that a bit first. Ideas and suggestions welcomed :-)

I love the carol concert. We have a Christmas choir too. It only started a few years ago and it grows every year, I just love it.
How about a mini photo of you [or the choir] singing.
Like the way you've included the CD.
I think a picture of you singing or the choir would be perfect. I love that you had a CD for practising with. I wish that had been available when I was in the church choir - way back in the dark ages when I still had a voice
oh i love john rutter, must get out my cd again. he's also musicion of the week on radio 3 at midday

great idea for attching a CD, will use that
I really like the photo idea. We love a bit of Rutter in this house too..your choir sounds excellent!
That sounds like a lovely choir I hope we all get an invitations to attend next year! (Where do you live again!!)
That's such a great idea to include the CD. How about a small photo of the choir for the space?
I think it looks good as it is - I love those alphas!
What a great way to store the CD, sure to love that in years to come.
what an awesome page! I love John Rutter. By school sang, Shephards pipe carol this year and it was lovely. It's so nice to sing carols isn't it?! Thanks for sharing. Will definitely lift that cd idea! xxx
What a great way to remember a special night, Mel. I love that you used a c.d. with the songs on it in your layout. Very nice!
Great idea for attaching the CD so it is still playable! I think the "white space" is good in the layout and wouldn't change a thing.
Messiah is one of my favourites - and I think a little bit of space on a layout can be a good thing. (But then I'm the Queen of Negative Space!)
What a wonderful page!
Love the inclusion off the CD. I used to love going to Midnight Mass 45 minutes early for the pre-service caroling.
