Day 17: Grateful

I'm really pleased with this page :-)

I typed up the journaling from this post in an 8x8 document, varying the fonts and colours. In the centre I placed the word 'grateful' using stencil font in outline, and I left a space at the bottom right for the number. I printed the document onto a piece of cardstock from Crate Paper. I handcut the letters of 'grateful' from the page then mounted it onto the back of Day 16 - the double-sided My Mind's Eye cardstock I used for that page shows through the gap. I added the Elle's Studio number on foam pads with a scrap of crocheted lace stapled underneath.

Absolutely stunning Mel - I think that is one of the best pages I have ever seen :-)
I love pages without photos every now and then - you have captured a magnificent one here.

I meant to say 'that THIS' is one of the best pages. Doesn't hurt to reiterate I suppose!

I love playing with fonts and always interested in what the font style adds to the meaning of the word - great choices.

That page is just fabulous! You should submit it to Shimelle for her project - I bet she would like it as an example of what you can do without any photos, with computers, with cutting out... It is wonderful! You're so clever.

What a lot of work - hand cutting all those letters. But the result is fabulous! Your page is great.
