Day 16: Secret Santa

Each year we have a Christmas get-together with our house group; we eat Chinese food, talk and laugh together and have a Secret Santa 'lucky dip'. We each bring along a gift that cost no more than £1, put them in a sack, and then later we pick out a gift each to take home.

This year the gifts included a flannel, a mug, a diary, a cocktail shaker, a sparkly reindeer, some tissues, chocolate coins, a puzzle, a box of chocolates, a tongue cleaner and a pineapple! I received the diary - any guesses which gift I gave? ;-)

Christmas tree paper from My Mind's Eye, edged with threading water punch, with strips of dotty Bazzill at top and bottom. Letters die-cut from vellum (I wanted them to be a little bit camouflaged, especially the word 'secret', to fit the theme). Elle's Studio number and a piece of coordinating paper as a photo mat.

Sounds like fun.....I'd have to go with the flow....and say the sparkly reindeer.

Possibly the diary due to your outstanding organisational skills - I'd hope the toungue cleaner wasn't your idea ;-) But, the reindeer could be possible, or, would you go out on a limb for the pineapple? Actually, I take it all back and vote for the puzzle!

I think the reindeer too. Cheapie Secret Santas are the best..otherwise the potential for disaster is just too great I think. Looks like a lot of fun!

Ha! I read "flannel" and thought "who would put in a flannel?" ... then I read "tongue cleaner"... WELL!

I think yours was the sparkly reindeer.

Sounds like lots of fun though!

Sounds like fun. I bet you put the box of chocolates in! I'm going to a few gift exchanges this year. For each one, I'm brining an assortment of hand-made cards because I have so many of them!

Very nice page! Flannel? That is a washcloth right? Not just a random piece of warm fabric? Darn English to American translations.

I'm guessing you brought the chocolate
