Day 12: Decorate the tree

Hooray, I'm actually seeing my house in daylight today!! And to celebrate, I've taken a few photos. Here is the page I made showing our Christmas tree and its decorations, as described here:

Yep, it's those divided page protectors again! This time I set aside the top strip of three pockets and will use them on another occasion. For the front of the page I printed a large shot of our tree lights (been experimenting with bokeh, can you tell?!) with plenty of white burgundy space on the right hand side. I cut the pic into 6 pieces and slotted each into its own pocket. The title is on the outside of the page protector, and consists of some die-cut letters in silver, white rub-ons, a 'tree' flashcard from Shimelle's kit, and an Elle's Studio number.

The back of the page is just close-up shots of a few selected ornaments:

I thought about adding little labels, but I don't think I need to really - and it was quicker not to!!

Day 13 is also photographed but I'm pacing myself so will post it later ;-)

Oh, I love these pages. I always like to see the window-pane style! Very cool.

The divided page protectors make it look like you took the photograph from outside the window. That's what I actually thought on first glance! How cool!

I love how you have used the divided page protectors. There must be something in the air - I tried some outdoor light bokeh last night ... failed miserably :-(
I'll have to try again soon - it was worse by the fact that I was eaten alive by mosquitos!

I really like the big picture divided into 6, I really want to try something like that. Where did you get your page protectors from Mel?
