Tales of inchies, wins and 20th of Blogtober...

I've won another giveaway prize!! *another happy dance* Many, many thanks to the very talented and very generous Robin at RS Island Crafts :-)

I turned my Something Completely Different 'black and white' inchie into a pendant, as promised:

I changed my mind a little about how I was going to do it, just kept it very simple with some black cord and a couple of black wooden beads. Can't wait to wear it!

I've also had a go with the new theme at Inchy by Inch; the theme is 'Babies', but that includes babies of the animal kingdom, so I went with teeny tiny as-yet-unhatched baby birdlings:

The base corrugated card is 1" square, then I arranged some strands of embroidery thread in various shades of brown, securing them with a few stitches. The eggs are three little turquoise wooden beads. I suspect it'll be rather different from everyone else's take on the theme lol but it was fun to make!

CurlyPops has featured my Joyful Mel and SuperMel on her blog - took me by surprise, which was silly as she'd asked me if it was OK to use my pics there!!

And I'm off to the dentist in a minute :-( I have something of a phobia when it comes to dentists - unfortunately The Girl seems to have developed it too - this could be a stressful afternoon...

Yes, your take on the baby theme for Inchybyinch is different but it's wonderful. I love the nest too. Such a textural inchy.
