I promised a craft post. Here it is:
I made these using an acetate and acrylic technique I developed ages ago for an article in Simply Cards & Papercraft. I will share more about that article, and show you some of the cards I made, and go into more detail about the technique too, just not today! Briefly, I cut acetate to ATC size, stamped the tree designs in black StazOn, then painted the back of the designs with acrylic paint. When it was all dry I trimmed two frames for each piece and sandwiched the acetate between. I sanded the frames, added rub-on letters (Doodlebug All Mixed Up), punched holes in the acetate to thread ribbons and fibres through, and secured said ribbons and fibres with a few staples. These are amongst my favourite ATCs I've ever made :-)
