I promised a giveaway, and here it is! :-) All welcome, I'm quite happy to ship overseas. I've basically gathered together all kinds of supplies and the winner will receive:
- A set of wooden alphabet stamps
- An unmounted stamp of a cute little penguin
- A selection of peel-offs
- A selection of stickers (flat, bubble and dimensional embellishments)
- Some rub-ons
- Magic Motifs
- Sticky tabs
- Assorted embellishments, to include brads, eyelets, flowers, beads, buttons and ribbons
- Assorted patterned paper (6x6 inches in size), including K&Company, DCWV and Basic Grey (50 sheets in total. Unless I miscounted!)
- A handmade notebook (see the one I did for myself here; winner to choose repurposed pages or plain white paper according to preference; cover fabric may vary depending what I lay my hands on first!)
- A surprise or two ;-)

Something I've learnt recently - How to do a 3 point turn!
At 28 I am finally learning to drive! That turn is HARD, but I was pleasantly suprised to learn that I am quite good at reversing. :)

I learned that the sabertooth salmon existed.
Recently I learned to keep track of where my sewing machine's foot pedal has migrated... someone came into the sewing room to talk to me and accidentally stepped on it, causing the machine to begin sewing very fiercely.

I have learned the joy of finally finishing something. It's been a long time between knits!!!
I have learnt to be much more patient and forgiving with my sewing projects- I have no idea where this has come from, I used to have a 'sulky' pile of unfinished items that needed fixing. I am loving it and hope it continues.
I have learned that big cooking projects are good for my sanity and that I should have them more often!!

recently I've learned that I have far more (and not near as much) patience as I thought I had! lol I am caregiver to a mother with Alzheimer's disease and we've reached an all-time stressful high. I love her and will do all I can for her, but I've learned that I'm both a stronger and more vulnerable person that I thought...all of your best and worst features come out under stress. I just live each day with the goal of making it through better for it.
