Blogtoberfest Day 10, and Something Completely Different

Edited to say: GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED!

An autopost that I hope will work OK, as I don't expect to get much internet access this weekend! But I'm doing my best to keep up with Blogtoberfest, so here's a little craft:

He's for this week's 'bird' theme at Something Completely Different. I started off with visions of elegant birds soaring through the sky.... Then this cheeky chap popped into my head and so I made him instead! The body and wing are stamped onto StampBord with Feather Flourish clear stamps from Stampendous, then coloured with pencil crayons. I punched the holes with my Crop-a-Dile (I'm impressed at how easily it handled StampBord!) and threaded through yellow cotton legs with bead feet knotted at the ends. I made a little paper fan, coloured it red and stuffed it into another hole to form the tail. He's not exactly elegant lol but he's fun!

Fancy another 3 (yes, three!) entries into my giveaway? Have a go at this challenge yourself, add your link to the Something Completely Different thread and also add your link in a comment here. Your name will appear 3 extra times in my draw at the end of the month in return! And I get the fun of seeing all your ideas, too :-)

Have a great weekend :-)
