Moo challenge and today's giveaway

As I mentioned earlier, the new challenge is up at "Something Completely Different"; it involves making a Moo Card with a theme of Black and Gold. I don't know why, but this challenge made me think of acetate (and also the Sam Sparro song, but hey...)

So, how to incorporate black and gold when using acetate? I have black StazOn, so I was definitely going to be stamping on the acetate, that was an easy decision. I looked through my stamps and found a PaperArtsy set, Plate 4 from the Wings range. I stamped the - fairies? angels? children? - whatever they are, I stamped the top half of that stamp onto the acetate, and the 'little angel' text from the same set. When the StazOn was dry I flipped the acetate over and filled in the wings with gold Stickles. When that was dry (boy, has all this drying time tested my patience today...) I punched two holes at the top and attached a piece of gold chain I picked up ages ago from a DIY store. And here it is:
Closer look at the Moo itself:
So, I've probably broken the rules again... It's not quite a Moo card, is it, being acetate? And the chain isn't mentioned in the Moo-specification, either. But I had a lot of fun making it! :-)

I'm still not personally giving anything away (sorry), but today's 'chance to win' that I stumbled across is at Scraps 4 Fun, and the goodies include a bunch of Cuttlebug products, Peachy Keen stamps and Stickles - see pic in my sidebar! Looks like a great prize, huh? Good luck :-)
