Happy Emergency Day, and a giveaway!

This giveaway is now closed. Thanks for your interest - look out for another giveaway soon!

Hi everybody, and Happy Emergency Day! :-) (So far, no-one has had _any_ idea what I'm on about... Well, today is 09.09.09. And in the UK, if we need the emergency services, we dial 999. There you go, it all makes perfect sense now, right?!)

In honour of Emergency Day (ie for no real reason) I've decided to run a little giveaway. I've always enjoyed entering them on other people's blogs, I figured it was about time I gave something away myself! Here's what's up for grabs:
A copy of Cards & Crafts for Christmas (a book-a-zine full of gorgeous seasonal projects), and also:
A tub of Winnie the Pooh stamps; 9 mini stamps (just under 2cm square each) with images of Pooh Bear and his friends in party mode. Oh, and a little inkpad is in the tub as well. Plus I may tuck a few other little goodies into the package ;-)

So, how can you win? Just leave a comment replying to this post - anything you like - no tricky questions to answer! If you mention me in your own blog, please leave a link to your post - this will earn you an extra entry. You can also earn a third entry by becoming a follower and mentioning this in your comment also. (Current followers, just mention this in your comment!)

Closing date is midday GMT on Friday 11th September 2009. Good luck!

What a lovely idea. I'd realised the date was special but not thought of the link with the emergency services.

You're so cute!! hahaha. In the United States we dial 911. Seems a little less likely a child would dial an emergency service if it's not three of the same number... Hope you're enjoying your day- I'm laying on the couch... on an ice pack. Yup... my back still isn't working. Gabriella said the other day: "I wish you would get fixed so we could go to McDonalds and have friends." Sad my children think that's the only place they can make friends... isn't it?

followed the link from lsned, my pages for this great project are on hold for the moment, too.
I broke my ankle in three palces, on Saturday, a neighbour called 999 on my behalf! Would love to win your generous gift, it would really cheer me up.

I love trying out new cards to make. I see you are a Shimelle fan. Me too. I do the JYC every year now. Also, have you done any classes with Big Picture Scrapbooking?
