Day 2 of LSNED

I'm still keeping up to date with this (after all of two days lol!!) mainly because I'm keeping the LOs as simple as possible. My plan is to maintain the 'journally' feel of this album, showcase the assorted materials I've used for the pages, use up various bits and pieces that have been hanging around, and do a bit of crafting every day. And not to worry about perfect, super-duper, 'finished' LOs. And to try out a few new techniques along the way. Shimelle has provided a little digi-kit as part of the class so I'd also like to produce a digital version of each page  ('cos, you know, I don't have enough to do...)

Anyway, here's the page for yesterday's 'thing I learnt':
The page itself is made from an off-cut of a giant poppy postcard I got free from the National Wildflower Centre, and a leftover piece of card from when I experimented with acrylic paint and baby wipes to make backgrounds. I typed the targets onto a page torn from a notebook and stamped the date at the bottom with my trusty date stamp. I added a paperclip and another cute little tiny clip I've had for ages. For the title ('Today I learnt... my performance management targets') I used my Dymo with strips of notepaper then inked to define. I stapled the ends of each strip before sticking them down.

I do still want to add a little something to that empty area on the left, but I'm waiting for the chance to root through my supplies - there may be something suitable in my cupboard at work...

Anyone see Grease: The School Musical on Sky One on Sunday? My friend works at Wallasey School :-)
